Search #favlogo on Twitter

A while ago on Twitter I started to post links to exceptional logotypes, day by day. You can monitor my picks by searching the #favlogo hashtag or simply by following me. After about two weeks, it’s time to make a roundup and select my favorite five! Let’s start.

Precision Networking by epsilon

Precision Networking Logo

I like this logo because of the clever way of utilizing E letters as the metrics of a ruler. I was always fond of designer who could take characters to another level and turn them into meaningful icons while retain readability. This is precisely achieved here. The whole logo, it’s sharpness and industrial look emphasizes the precision even more. Kudos.

Eight by Stylo Design

Eight Logo

You can see the pattern now, I like playing with fonts. This one executes a perfect eight using just the digit 8. And although the logo may be difficult to read at first, once recognized, will be a really memorable sign.

Cardiologic by Hayes Image

Cardiologic Logo

Another motif I tend to like is pictographic play on the company name. This one makes it exactly as it should, by combining atom logic with cardio heart — in a way that is so obvious, yet so invisible until now. Top notch creativity, because spotting the obvious is the hardest thing to do.

Cinema Cafe by Muamer

Cinema Cafe Logo

Some logos win not just with the idea, but superb quality. This is one of them. Bending this movie film to have a natural, free look isn’t an easy task. Giving it a slick, deep feeling with a slight gradient identifies a designer with just the right amount of touch. Not to mention that one look at the logo tells you what it is all about. And in food business, it’s often what counts most.

LocKey by Logomotive

LocKey Logo

This was definitely my favorite of the five. It was an instant #favlogo, more, it was a striking How dumb was I not to see that! The roundness of the lock fits like a puzzle with the roundness of the key. And it was there for decades! Too bad it wasn’t designed for an existing company, but still this logotype is epic. That’s the key, you would say.

That was the first iteration of Top Five #favlogos. I hope you liked my selection, express your feelings in the comments. I like to hear what other people think of my taste. Look forward to the next roundup in some two weeks, and follow me on Twitter to see my daily picks instantly.

Thanks for the inclusion. I’m glad to see people really look at execution. I found the name to be equally rewarding as the design and they fit together nicely. Thanks again.
