MARΞK F055

Marek in a black t-shirt with a big W symbol made out of main Warsaw attractions, with hands in his pockets smiling to the camera. Books, world map and workstation in the background.

My name is Marek FOSS, an open-source dev for fun & profit.

I graduated Oxford University Computing Laboratory in 2008 with an M.Sc. in Computer Science having studied Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Intelligent Systems and Semantic Annotation. Since then, I have created & been involved in many projects, using various technologies. From 2008 until 2021 I worked with ProcessOne, champions of open source and maintainers of ejabberd XMPP server. Starting 2021, I focused on radically open source blockchain development on Ethereum.

I like to code in Perl, Solidity & jQuery+JavaScript, deploy on Ethereum & Debian+Nginx, design with Adobe or Affinity and work remotely. I always aim to do whatever gets the job done. I like to learn new things all the time! Get in touch with me by email to blog at F055 dot net. I publish my research papers on Academia.edu.

This is my final blog.
I try to write about everything, but mainly: life, money, technology, and the future.
